There are many people who have claimed to have had the strange sensation of seeing shadows or corporeal shapes out of the corner of their eye, only for them to disappear when they decide to look more closely.
A family living in England has claimed to record a ghost of a child swinging in their Garden and then eventually disappearing.
The most common of all ghost sightings are usually of a deceased person, someone you know, or even a family member.
These ghosts may or may not be benevolent, but they can appear in a variety of ways.
Experts in the field say that this type of ghost retains its personality from when they were alive and can even feel emotions.
However, skeptics suggest that possible explanations for a ghostly presence include atmospheric or geomagnetic activity and altered sensations and states of consciousness induced by changes in brain chemistry brought on by stress, lack of oxygen, monotonous stimulation, or the accumulation of hormones.
But what happens when such sightings are recorded on a camera?
Perhaps the answer to this question comes from an English family, which has recorded what appears to be the ghost of a child running through the garden of their house.
A curious ghost of a child
Amanda Papadopoulos, 39, was at home with her two children, when she first saw a strange figure floating around her garden in Eagle, in the English county of Lincolnshire.
Her husband Paul, 47, who was at work, received a notification from the security company Nest saying that “something” had been recorded by the camera installed in the garden.
Amanda, a secretary, looked at the images and saw a ghost of a child spinning and swinging on the clothesline before disappearing without a trace on the roof of the building built back in 1903.
“Not every day you see something on television. I was like ‘Oh my gosh, let me see that again.’ I don’t want to see it too much. My husband thinks it’s great, but I’m a little scared. “

As you can see from the images, the strange presence appears to have feet and is almost transparent.
It wandered through the garden.
Then, the ghostly figure suddenly vanished, only to reappear at the back door of the house, standing against the door before disappearing from the camera’s vision.
However, this is not the first time the family has witnessed paranormal activity in the house.
Amanda and Paul, director of a company, have claimed to have heard soldiers marching and were awakened by the sound of children laughing.
The day this happened, they went downstairs to see their children, and they were both sound asleep at that moment.
So Amanda is convinced that all these incidents are related to each other.
“My daughter went through a period of waking up at night and it was about the same time,” Amanda continued to explain. “She woke up around one in the morning and the video corresponds between 23:00 and 1:20 in the morning.”
The family moved to the old town of Eagle in October, 2018.
The city is also related to the Knights Templar and apparently her home was an old chapel, built in the late 19th century, and a Victorian school, built in 1903, which has led Amanda to believe that the mysterious figure could be a ghost of a child or a Knight Templar.
Amanda believes that the move of her family may have angered the ghost because of the renovations that were made in the house, although there is also the possibility that the ghost of the child is visiting her children.
For the skeptics, this video only shows an anomaly in the camera lens or simply some insect, but the reality is that it could be an encounter with a real ghost.
