NASA Used Mysterious Codename “Santa Claus” to Hide UFO Sightings on the Moon During Apollo Missions

The idea that NASA used the codeword “Santa Claus” to refer to unidentified flying objects (UFOs) seen on the Moon during the Apollo missions has been a topic of debate and speculation for many years. While some believe that this codename was used to conceal evidence of extraterrestrial life or alien spacecraft visiting the Moon, others view it as a hoax or misunderstanding of NASA’s use of codenames. In this article, we will take a closer look at the evidence and explore whether or not this theory holds any weight.

What Are Codenames and Why Does NASA Use Them?

NASA’s use of codenames is a well-established practice with a long history. The use of codenames was particularly prevalent in the early days of space exploration when codenames were used to simplify the transmission of complex information and to ensure secure communication between different parts of the organization.

For example, the Apollo missions used a variety of codenames, such as “Eagle” for the lunar module and “Columbia” for the command module. These codenames were used to simplify communication between different parts of the organization, not to conceal information from the public.

NASA, the world-renowned space agency, has been exploring the universe for decades. The United States government recently showed a serious interest in UFOs and has appointed a new Chief, Bill Nelson, to study this phenomenon. However, Bill Nelson doesn’t believe that the UFO sightings are extraterrestrial, but he stated that people can’t rule out this possibility as well. Some legends at NASA like Gordon Cooper, Edgar Mitchell, and Story Musgrave firmly believe in the existence of UFOs.

NASA Cover-ups And The Codename Santa Claus

Conspiracies about NASA covering up evidence of UFO sightings have been around since the first Apollo mission. Donna Hare, who worked for NASA contractor Philco Ford in the early 1970s, claimed that she had access to a highly secure photo lab and other departments within NASA. During the Disclosure Project press conference, she revealed that NASA covered up and eliminated space anomalies such as UFOs from satellite photos.

The Claims of NASA Insider Donna Hare

Hare was a technical illustrator in space programs and created lunar maps and landing slides. She had a high-security clearance that allowed her access to a place known as “Building Eight,” where she made contact with high-ranking officials.

One day, she walked into the restricted NASA photo lab and noticed mosaic photographs of the Moon taken from satellites. She was with a friend who pointed at one of the photographs and surprisingly, she saw a round white dot. When she asked her friend what it was, he smiled and said, “dots on the emulsion don’t leave shadows on the ground.” She was startled to see a round shadow at the correct angle and asked if it was a UFO. Her friend smiled and said, “I can’t tell you.”

Codewords “Santa Claus” and Alterations

Hare learned that NASA had a protocol to alter satellite images and that workers assigned to this program were put in quarantine. She was told by one of her sources that during one of the moon landings, three UFOs had landed, and there was a codeword “Santa Claus” for these crafts.

No one was allowed to talk about these in public, and they faced serious consequences after retirement. She was told that every astronaut had seen the crafts during their space missions, but she never saw the source again.

Whistleblowers’ Stories About UFOs And Coverups

Former US Air Force Sergeant Karl Wolfe shared a similar story. He had top-secret clearance and worked at Langley Air Force Base in Virginia. He worked as a precision electronics photograph repairer for NASA’s Lunar Orbiter Project. One day, he was taken into a lab by another worker who showed him a photo of artificial buildings at the lunar base. His death in a bike accident remains a mystery, with many believing that he was killed for exposing top-secret documents.

Another whistleblower, former U.S. Army Command Sgt. Major Robert Orel Dean, claimed that when he worked for NATO in France, he read a document titled “The Assessment” in the 1960s. The document contained information about photos of dead aliens, crashed UFOs, and reports by military pilots and scientists. Coincidentally, he died a week before Karl’s death in 2018.

The stories of Donna Hare, Karl Wolfe, and Robert Orel Dean suggest that NASA may have covered up evidence of UFO sightings. These stories, along with the recent interest shown by the US government, raise questions about the existence of extraterrestrial life and the possibility of their visits to Earth. It’s up to further investigation and research to uncover the truth and find out if aliens really exist.

While the idea of extraterrestrial life and UFO sightings on the Moon is intriguing, it is important to approach these claims with a critical eye and to be guided by scientific evidence.

NASA’s commitment to transparency and openness is a testament to its dedication to the scientific method and its commitment to accuracy and truth. The organization’s use of codenames, such as “Eagle” and “Columbia”, has always been to simplify communication and streamline its operations, not to conceal information from the public.

In the ongoing search for evidence of extraterrestrial life and in the exploration of the vast universe, it is important to be guided by scientific facts and to approach claims with a critical eye. The mystery and wonder of space are endlessly fascinating, and it is this sense of wonder and discovery that drives NASA and the scientific community forward.

Whether or not we find evidence of extraterrestrial life in our lifetime, the journey of discovery will always be at the forefront of our minds and a source of excitement and inspiration for generations to come.
